How do you guys like this kind of reverse-staggered look?

Nitto Invo's run a little big, and Falkens are made for the stretch, that's why there's such
a big difference between 245/40 and 235/40s. Looks kind of lopsided lol
So much more grip now and I can properly lay down the power :p

Actually from afar you can't really tell, but once i lower the fronts, everything should look smoother and you cant really tell that its reverse staggered!

and I use Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel :p

that's not what reverse stagger is! it's the width not the diameter.

Now I don't have much torque steer and so much grip. Maybe it's just from the 245s not so much the reverse stagger :p

That Meguiars endurance gel is real nice, gotta settle for the endurance spray around here but it holds up quite nice as well. I like the rims a lot, they do look like your old rims though.

Haha I hope the Endurance spray is just as good. The gel stays on for 3-4 weeks at least for me.
Starts fading after 6-8 weeks :p

Man it was a hard decision, I just couldn't find a set I truly liked.
I felt comfortable with the Work Emotions CR-Kai and loved the way they look,
just the fitment/staggered was not on point enough.
So after playing around with some spacers and then my previous VMRs, I knew what fitment
I was looking and absolutely love how they look.

I'm really sorry I cant get more/better pictures yet but I am planning to do a full detail before toyotafest along with more updates along the way

Wow, 245/40 tires up front? Thats pretty damn big. So do you get any rubbing issues when turning the steering wheel all the way?

On a side note, How can a car with an engine producing 250 lbs of torque come with 215/55 tires ..? What were Toyota engineers thinking?

haha yeah man i like how 9.5 +30 sits...a functional medium between tucked and flush

i love those wheels and was seriously considering buying your old works to switch it up and kind of wish i had

i guess it's not true staggered since the wheels are all the same width, but running meatier tires in the front will probably raise a few eyebrows at toyotafest haha

Yeah I had a set of 245/40s from before I tried to tuck them in the rears, but the rears wheel wells are smaller than the fronts (figures, FWD ) and so I thought of going with 235/40 all around, but might as well put the 245s to use

and I know right? Even my girlfriend's accord 2008 i4 = 225/50s..c'mon toyota cut us some slack but I think they did it for MPG purposes.

Thanks though, i feel like they match extremely well with our cars!
and yeah it's not true reverse staggered (i think i've seen a track civic si with 18x10.5 in the front and 18x8.5 in the back), doesn't really matter as the rear tires are essentially being towed anyway.

you also can't really tell it's meatier from afar (at least right now before i clean em up)
but yeah it's definitely cool looking (and different!)

Lol i simply had a set of 245/40s that I tried to fit in the rears when I had my previous set but it did not work well..rubrubrub all day :p
So I heard from my friends that FWD track cars such as Civics reverse-stagger and so I was like,
why not? since we have a smaller wheel well in the back, fill em both up with rubber!

But tbh, I think the max we can fit in the rears is a 225/40 and the max in the front is 245/40.

235/40 with max camber is do-able with fender shave, but anyway.
