Oxygen sensors

My Dads looking to buy a 2003 Camry with the V6 three liter engine. The seller had the emission test sheet and it indicated that it had a "bank 2 sensor 1" that needed replacement. (engine light was on)
What is bank 2? front side of engine or back side near fire wall? And what is sensor 1.Is this an easy fix, or should it go to the dealer.
I have been looking for parts suppliers as well, and it looks like it depends on if this car is US built or Japan built. The VIN is JTDBF32KXxxxxxxxx. I'm guessing it is a Japan built but...
What can you tell me?

It is Japan built.

Bank 2 is on the front side of the engine, sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter, sensor 2 is after the converter.

You need the trouble code to find out what may be wrong...there could be multiple possibilities for each code.

Good Luck..

Code was p0051. Looks like it has to do with the heater circuit of the sensor. My understanding is that in most cases, replacement of the sensor will solve the problem.
Do we have to reset the codes or will it do that on its own?

Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the codes, but driving a few miles and going through a couple start and stop cycles will heal the problem, if in fact you fixed it. The device used to read the code can usually be used to clear as well.
