That should be the Aisin U-241E transmission in there. I believe there is a fluid circuit design problem that sometimes can cause two gears to be engaged at the same time. I personally don't care much for the U-series transmissions, IMO they're clunkers compared to earlier A series.
On the other hand, 100K miles is probably the design lifetime of the transmission, if even that long. I'd try to get a diagnosis from a competent ATRA Transmission Rebuilders Assoc member shop in your area:

Before today I thought that I knew about my car quite a lot. Today it turned out that all I had touched before was everything but A/transmission- only fluid change.
Today my wife emerging from of a gas station parking lot to the road heard some clinking/screeching sound. After this the car rolled quite bit and stopped, engine idling but not moving.
I towed it home and tried to diagnose it- but as I said above - there is not enough knowledge about AT.
Hope someone who got into some similar situation or the professionals here will give me some ideas about the situation.
The gear shift behaves as usual- moves from P only if the brake pedal is pressed, goes freely to all position. But... there is no sign of engagement- no sounds, no slight jerks when shifting from P to R or N to D.
Being in P the car is not held in place- it's rolling on slope.
When returning from R to P there is a faint ratcheting sound like parking brake moved up fast. No issues with AT before
