I was about to buy a lockpick2 when I came across a lot of bad reviews about it. Wonder who has it on this board and can share his/her experience. Search did not come up with too much details.

If lockpick does not work, who knows a better solution to enable DVD watching/control w/o disabling the gps/nAV? Anybody?

Can't you just ground out a certain wire just like you can for the aftermarket head units?

I know for aftermarket, it's the solid green wire.

Unfortunately not. Did that on my other car with the aftermarket HU. Toyota's Nav HU has no DVD pickup - NAV map or CD/MP3 only. No DVD or MP4 or any other video format supported on these drives. I know: why, why, why...maybe someone can hack that though but have not found a hack yet.

hmmm....let me get back to you on this. I will see if someone I know knows something.
