Anybody have the newer style tail lights?

Sorry if it's been posted but I couldn't find any info on these here. Does anybody have these I'm not sure how I feel about them. I was going to have my originals smoked but they want $150 to put vinyl over them or $200 to paint tint them I might as well buy a set of the LED's for that price. I love the red one's but only if they came with a slight tint to them. The smoked ones are nice too but I wish there was a little red/OEM to them. These although they don't have an OEM look to them they have a bit of red but are also smoked. Does anybody have pictures of these installed?

Nope. I do not have those. I have the smoked version. The one OP posted is known as "black" The chrome sides and red reflectors are darker but the chrome where the bulbs and LEDs are is not.

Mine are slightly smoked all around.

I do not think anyone on this forum has the new ones. If they bought LED tails, they bought them a long time ago when I bought them before this new look came out or people are buying 2010+ where they do not need to buy these.

I think that I'm going to take the plunge. Pawell did a Retrofit for me so I want the back to match the front ideally I'd love the red leds with the smoke tint like they have on the blue bat webpagd combined that's too much money. My cars ribbon blue what do you guys think?

Its hard to say without an actual look of it. It will look fine and like you said, it will match the front.

Im glad you turned the deal down ... thats STUPID over priced...

you can get pre cut tints for as low as $20 on ebay... or get VHT Niteshade to tint them your self, many DIY's online too !

Or im sure you can get it done else where for even cheaper .... 200 is ridiculous ! especially when you can get the VHT niteshade for under 20 bucks
