Rear Brakes went out b/4 Front Brakes

Just had to have my factory rear brakes replaced today as the pad had worn through all of the way. Oddly enough, my front factory brakes still had plenty of padding left. Is this normal for the '07 Camry SE?

This has bin discussed before you should do a search. That seems normal since mine was the same way i just replaced all of the pads less hassle.

yes, Toyota changed the pad design due to the premature wear.

Why would you change unworn pads? That's just plain silly, brake pads only have to be changed in pairs so that your car isn't pulling left or right but so long as they're even left to right everything will work fine.

The front brakes do like 80% of the braking anyway.

I had my front pads changed out even thought they still have like 50% left..why? Because I don't want to have to resurface the rotor at about 40k and replace rotor at 60k due to warping/vibration issue..
I found a TSB w/ a new front pads part number which suppose to help reduce the warping issue..
However, be ware of the price for these new pads..they cost 2.5x the price of old pads..
