We know that te engine of an Camry gen 5 and gen 6 are the same. This changed when toyota came with thte camry build in 2010 and 2011.
The engine changed from 2.4 L to 2.5 L.
Here in The Netherlands I'm driving an camry 2007. When I ever have to repair the valve clearance, I can go the dealer and can buy the parts I need for changing valve clearance.
What about Camry build 2010 or 2011. And these te part the same ?
Does someone know what else is change about the engine ?

valve clearance is not adjustable. and the timing belt is not a belt any more, it is a chain now. i too have a 2010 2.5 engine.
I was hoping someone should help me with my question. Under the hood there's a sign, who says what the valve clearance should be.
I understand that when you have a new car you don't care about that.
When you drive a lot of miles, there comes a time you have to control or even repair the valve clearance.
It's not easy to get parts of an Camry here in the netherlands. Are the parts of an 2010 camry the same as the valve parts on an 2007 camry 2.4 ?

Yes they are. Hydraulic self-adjusting valve lash is a feature of the 2AR-FE. Toyota has been moving its newer engines to a roller-rocker setup instead of the old bucket tappets (solid or shimmed).
The 3.5L 2GR-FE is the same way.

Thanks for your message. This is just what I need. Here in Holland I'm not driving with standard gas. Mine is build in with an extra tank en driving on LPG. With this LPG the valves are reaching higher tempratures. So valvle clearing has to be adjust more often.
Soon I want to import an camry from Amerika again. This wil be an Camry with the new 2.5 engine.
Here in this forum I read how happy everyone is with an new Camry. Well, I'm in that mood too, but have to make a dicission.
Here in the Netherlands I can't go to the dealer to see on my own what's the difference is about an 2010 or 2011 type Camry. I'm looking for an Camry 2.5 LE. On the outsite The front and grill is different.
Can someone help me about the technical difference about an 2010 / 2011 model ?
For the North American market the car is identical. There may, and likely are, some minor assembly line changes that always seem to occur, but the cars are the same. The 2012 model will boast a new body style, but it is rumored to be minor.

2010 and 2011 share the same oil filter, at the dealership here in Wisconsin it takes what we call the A1 filter. The A6 fits the Corolla/Matrix, the A5 the new 4 Runner, and the A6 the Tundra/Sequoia. It doesn't take the traditional spin on type filter anymore, it's called a "canister filter" because it's a paper filter that sits inside a housing near the engine.

The first filter you listed, the CH9972, will fit and it is made by Fram filters (very popular aftermarket filter company here in America). If you go to www.fram.com check and see if they will ship overseas. They should. If they don't say, email them. They're such a big company I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
