Which of the tires is the best? Please advise Tire Gurus haha
Hey all what's up, hope everyone is good. Just noticed today when I swung by my house that my mom's 4 cylinder 2009 LE Camry needed a tire change so I'm on BJs website looking at the tires they offer for it. They offer the following ones:
Michelin - Energy™ MXV4® S8 at $175/tire
P215/60R16 94V
Michelin - Pilot® Exalto® A/S at $139/tire
215/60R16 95V
BFGoodrich - Advantage T/A® at $110/tire
215/60R16 95V
Seeing that I don't know too much about tires, I decided to ask here and see which one is best. I see that the Primacy is the only one that is H-rated but I'm pretty sure that V-rated is rated for higher speeds than H (although my mother won't be driving at 130-140 mph) is there any other major difference between H and V? Is there anything else I should know about these tires before I get them? Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch all.
UPDATE --> wow BJs are some scammers! I just went on STS's website online and found the Michelin MXV4's for $70 bucks if you buy 4 of them...so looks like I'm gonna get those at STS if theres no objection to them?
njerald i didnt mean it in that regard, i asked to see if anyones had any experience with them, either good or bad, and i would like to know so i could make the best educated decision. either way, 300-400$ isn't small money so i'm trying to make the best decision all around.

No way you're getting any MXV4 S8s for less than $150-170.
get yokohoma avid envigor if they have it in that size. 60k warrenty, very quiet, ultra grippy. i love em. cost 145 each in 225/40/18. buy all ur tires on discount tire. best price.
edit:looked em up and it's 400 for all 4 on discount. it's worth it. i gave em a good test today up to rockland toyota in terms of speed, grip, and handling. no wet/snow review yet.
Every tire is a compromise. In 1967 my father bought a new Ford with Michelin X tires. When he traded it off, the car had 125,000 miles on it, and the original Michelin X tires, and they weren't gone yet. Very hard and stiff ride, but they lasted forever. Look at the tire wear rating numbers. The base is 100. Most OEM tires on Toyotas are in the 220-250 range. I have Michelin Hydroedge whose number is 800 as I recall. Stiffer ride than the originals but the trade is not having to replace them every 30k miles. Buy tires based upon the tread ratings, wear ratings, and price. The cheapest tire could well be the most expensive.
