i have a 2007 camry le V6 and my cable came off the puller inside the car. i can put it back on but it comes off right after. is there a way to tighten the cable or something? or does anyone have any solution to this?

sounds like you need to change the hood lever assembly.
If you want a quick fix, i'd try using JB weld to glue it into the handle.

There's going to be some adjustment in the cable length, but first you need to take a look at it closely and see if anything broke. It should not be coming off like that.
