Need help -- replacing TPS....or trying to...

Got the failed TPS code (P2121) on my 2004 Camry LE.

Bought this: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product__18480759-P_280_R|GRPSENSAMS____

But I can only see one sensor-looking thing on the throttle body and it seems to have a much larger (more wide) connector.

Did I buy the wrong part? Is there another sensor on the TB that is in a hard spot to see?

Thanks for any help/pointers.

Look for TSB EG023-05 may 17, 2005
If your throttle body hose part # is 22231-28090 then it should be replaced by 22231-28030.
The tsb above gives the testing and replacing procedures.

Is your car an I4 or V6? Japan or US made? The Japan version uses more pins than the us version of the I4....

Check out www."CamryStuff.com" (Direct links to manuals are not permitted, Forum Rule 15. Copy, paste & remove quotes)

Lots of good info for your Gen 5.

I'm not sure...not much of a car guy. The only sensor on the TB was held on with rivets. I put everything back together, then went under the dash by the gas pedal. I disconnected the sensor down there and reconnected it....

Viola! It works perfectly.

When it craps out again, which I sure won't be long, I'll pick up the accelerator pedal position sensor and replace.
