you could take a pic of the engine bay where you d/c the hoses and anythin you think could cause the car to not start up

Problem solved.

it didn't start right away. but i just kept trying after reading other people's post.

the cleaner fluid must have flooded the intake.

first 5-7 try no start.

8-13 ruff and random start.

14-17 getting normal.

18th. i just left running kept the engine hot. went around a block.

my engine idle at 750rpm vs almost zero.. before cleaning.

Take the car for a 10-15 minute ride to clear most of the cleaner out of the air intake system. The car should run fine after that.

You could of also opened the throttle completely,(floor the pedal) then start it. Should turn over first time.

I'm such a noob with all this... wasn't sure pumping the pedal or flooding was the right way to go .

Just an FYI. You don't pump the pedal, you hold it to the floor. That's the way to start a flooded engine, same as back in the good old days.

Man, next time use a toothbrush to clean the butterfly. Just a squirt goes a long way.
