5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey ladies and gents. Just bought a 2011 camry se. it's got 22% tint all around debadged and the Toyota symbols are now painted black to match the car. Now what? I can't find anything for this car. It's a 2.5l. What else can I do with out going crazy with customizing and fabricating? Thinking an exhaust and intake and lowering any suggestions?
I searched a lot but nothing clearly says what will work for suspension. I wish the 2011 and 2010 had a seperate forum instead of being mixed in with hundreds of 08's 09's 07's 06's.. Oh well I'll keep searching.

There were no changes regarding suspension in the 2010+ Camrys as far as I'm aware. The changes were mainly in the front and rear faschia, some interior electronic components, and the 4-cyl engine's displacement increased.
You may want to start with... Ultra Racing rear sway bar, Ultra Racing strut bar, exhaust, intake (if you want a better sounding exhaust note), H&R lowering springs, rims, etc.
If you are interested in suspension-enhancing components such as a strut bar, improved rear sway bar, etc., look in Ultra Racing parts. If you want pretty much anything else, talk to the user "Princess Peach". He can get you good deals on most parts and he is an authorized vendor on the ToyotaNation.com forums.
Welcome to the TN Forums! Keep in mind that this question has been asked many times before. You might want to do a search in the future and see what you can find.
It's straight bro. I'm just trying to be the first around my neck of the woods with a modded out camry. Plus I wanna sound good and be low. I'm so high stock
If you want springs, go Teins for the Solara. They'll give you a lower look than the ones actually designed for our car. As for exhaust, I have the v6 TRD catback and it sounds mean. FYI, intakes, suspension, and exhaust are the same for our cars as it is for the Gen6. Another thing to mention is that the squirrel spotter mod for HID kits also works.
Pretty much, everything is the same sans engine more or less.

I suggest a Mustang or a new Camaro. The Camry is a midsize family car, so put the baby in the back seat and go to the mall.

I just sold my 2008 tundra limited because the gas was killing me. That 380 horse power was nice. So until I'm older and can afford more I'll get those for the nice days. Seeing as I'm only 22. So that's why I'm trying to be smart and do some simple mods and have a ok ride that still looks cool. One day I'll have the mustang and ferrari.
