LED DRLs w/ H11 base?

Anyone find any great H11 base LED's which can be swapped into the DRL's which are bright and usable as DRL's?

To do this I need a relay harness? Will the relay switch at the 6V or 8V which the DRL's run at in the standard HID relay package or do I need to find something else?

Thanks!

What year is your car? If for a 2007+, the DRLs are in the high beam segment, which use H9 bases.

H11 is the low beam segment, H9 is the high beam segment. If you want LEDs for your DRLs, you'll need to replace the high beam segment, which is an H9 bulb.

Gotcha, I stand corrected, H9 for high beams. I understand that they go to low voltage for the DRL's. I'm not seeing any threads about this and was looking for good suggestions on what to get.

What I'm finding via Google is that the LEDs fitting the H9's are 12V. So this wont work for DRL's w/o perhaps a relay harness I think. Here's where I'm looking for advice.

I'm looking for something like a super bright DRL like the LED DRL's on the mercedes or audi but simply in the DRL headlamp as a replacement bulb.

2007-2011 High beam headlamp 9005

If you switch your drls to leds since they are tied with high beams your high beams will not work or wont be as efficient

Yes, thank you for that correction. I had the H11 -> H9 conversion on my mind for the low beams. The highs are indeed HB3/9005 bulbs.
