Gen5 Help with 2002 Camry SE JBL Stereo?

Hi, sorry if this post doesn't belong in this forum.

I'm hoping someone could help me with a tutorial on how to swap out the faceplate on a 2002 Camry JBL Stereo with another one. I was thinking of maybe unscrewing the front end of the stereo, but I'm not even sure if that will get access to the faceplate so before I mess everything up I'd like some more opinions.

The stereo that came factory installed had problems loading CD's, and eventually the CD function stopped working all together. I ended up buying a replacement from OEM Car Audio, since Toyota no longer produces them, but the faceplate is a little faded at the top and I wanted to know if it's possible to put my old faceplate on the replacement since it's in better condition.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

EDIT: Here's some pics, sorry about the bad lighting.

If I remember correctly, there are no screws to undo in order to remove the faceplate. You just need to disengage the black clips around the edge of the faceplate and gently pry away. The faceplate connects to the stereo by a row of blade terminals (i.e. no ribbon cables or wires). This is off of my memory from years ago when I swapped faceplates and did some LED work on the OEM radios. Just be sure the two stereos are exactly the same. If the replacement works with your original faceplate, then wonderful

Here's what the back of the faceplate looks like. I didn't take a picture of the radio side of it where it connects.

^Thanks, the pic actually helps a lot because I think the clips are on the top and bottom, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna pull out any wires with the faceplate. Really appreciate it, thanks again!

this seems to fit gen 6 camrys, the camry that OP has is a gen 5.

on that note, does this somehow fit the gen 5 camry even though it doesnt mention any of the gen 5 years (2002-2006) ?

They are absolutely clueless about the products they push and vehicles in general.
