Any ideas on a couple issues with 2011?

3600 miles on the XLE V6 odo in 7 weeks, still very pleased with the performance. Couple things noted, though, where I could use an opinion.

When starting up and shifting into reverse, there is a sharp chirp from the front wheels. Never noticed this on any other car/van I have owned, so is this normal?

Shortly after buying the car, I noticed a smudge/discolor around the front left wheel axle cover. I first thought it was just a smear of grease or something that had not been cleaned off during assembly, and it came off easily with mineral spirits. Now I notice another similar smudge has appeared. Is this something that should be checked out immediately?

This one is hard to describe. My wife, who can hear a worm crawl , is annoyed by a ticking sound from what she thinks is the drivers seat belt socket when I have the seat moved back (it is not there when the seat is up where she likes it). I cannot hear a thing, of course, and I'm sure it is only a problem because the cabin is otherwise so quiet. The sound is not speed related, and is reduced when I stick a folded map down between the belt socket and the seat cover. I cannot see or hear anything sticking or rubbing when the car is not in motion. Any ideas?

I have the issue where the seat belt area on both driver and passenger side rattles! I've had a tech sit with me in a ride, but he hears nothing. If I put pressure on the door arm rest, the sound goes away.. so it gives me reason to believe that it's actually coming from the door panel.

Out of the four 2011 Camry's I've test driven, the one I bought has the rattle. Hahaha.

my rear deck with the speakers rattles like crazy when i turn the bass up on my JBL system, it drives me almost insane.

i think rattling is normal for new car nowadays since everything is made from plastic and cheap parts to save on production cost, quality isnt as good as it was back in the day. for me sometimes when the seat belt is released the metal spade thing doesnt fold back flat gets stuck on the seat and the seatbelt piller and causes a small ticking sound until its straightened flat onto the pillar.

A clicking noise comes from my seat belt clip, so every time I move in my seat, you hear a click. I also pinpointed the door rattle, that is so discreet, not even a tech can hear it, to my door panel. It's the armrest on the door panel, along with the door grab. I can replicate the sound by shaking the door grab. I want to say it'll go away by itself after some use! Who would have thought we'd have to break in a door.

You have a new car, so take the thing to the dealer and ask them to check the noise issues. Every car made is going to have some odd thing that you find irritating. If you drive 5 different cars for 2 weeks each, I can guarantee that each one will have something about it that will bug you or your wife. The dealer can usually fix these things. This is why you have a warranty.

Yeah, its going in Friday for 5000 mile service and checking of the noise and axle issues. I'm gonna request the youngest Tech in the place, who might still have enough hearing left to discover the source of the noises.

One other "noise" needs to be checked - the A/C fan rattles when turned to high speed (even I can hear this one). No noise when the fan is on low to medium speed. Sounds like a piece of duct may be loose enough to rattle when the airflow is high. I hope they can dig into there to fix it without tearing half of the dash apart.

So far the problems have been pretty minor. By 5000 miles the Lexus that the Camry replaced had been in 3 or 4 times to fix things that didn't work, or didn't work right.
