How low would you go??

I dont know if this was posted or not so sorry if this is a reply....

I want to know your thoughts on how low I should lower my car to where I can still have good control of my vehicle and be smoth. One guy told me to go 1.0 in front and 1.3 in back- how does that sound??

Well im over 3" front and back on coils and the closer to the ground you get the lower your center of gravity will be and the better your car will handle. Unless you cut your springs, thats just stupid.

Don't really gotta go low, the setup your friend recommended wont really make a difference. Get a strut bar.

I think it depends on the road condition in your area. I use TRD spring for my car (along with 18 wheels), which only provides a mild drop, yet there is a slope in my area that scratches the floor whenever I go over it.
IMO, the setup your friend recommends is fine cz you want the balance between smoothness and better handle. You will sacrify your ride when going lower.

it's a honduh thing we wouldn't understand the stupidity.

i'm with others who say slam it on coils. ive had it really low and its handling improves but the lower you go the more you feel the road and get the bounce. so if your not into that then maybe springs are best. i know ive always hated the bounce and when i modded many imports in the past ive turned to really good coils such has jic, tein, cusco's etc. when i got megans i initially didn't like them to tell you the truth. i felt i had to make them to stiff for a better ride but after weeks of tweaking i believe i found their sweet spot. that or they just needed awhile to properly settle. im 10 all the way around and things are tight. time for ur parts....

good luck either way
