Canada Transmission issue ????? 04 camry SE manual 4cyl

Hi I am new to this forum and from what I see it looks like everyone here understands a lot about toyota. So I thought I would ask this question as the title says my wife has an 04 Camry SE manual transmission and this past week we were driving and all of sudden the car began revving very high in all gears most in 2nd and 3rd. So I would shift the gears and I would push on the gas to accelerate and the engine would rev very high and there was no acceleration. I am not a big car guy so if my description is to vague I am sorry. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you've been driving with a bunch of clutch slippage for a better part of a week, it's virtually certain that the clutch is toast.

Try adjustment, but it's very likely you'll need a new clutch, possibly a pressure plate (they get quite toasty and blue when they slip).
