Want to buy a new 2007/2008 camry - please help.

Hi all,

I haven't been to this forum in several years however, I am thinking of buying a new Camry. I currenlty own 1996 Corolla with 110K miles on it, and am thinking of an upgrade. Recently, I saw an advertisement on TV for 2007/2008 new Camry's that are being sold for a significant discount.

I live in Queens (new york, ny). Does anyone know which dealership I can go to to inquire further?

Thank you!

How about the dealer that was advertising, huh? And if you could find a car that has been sitting for 4 years, would you want it? It is still a low mileage used car. Perhaps from Jefferson Parish, LA, shipped up north?? Look out.

are you sure that you heard BRAND new......???????

or maybe "like brand new" as in former lease cars.........??? or rental cars, or dealer loaner cars...........???

cuz if you really did hear "brand new", then i too would suspect cars from an insurance wrecking yard that were flood damaged and have been re-titled in another state, which by the way, NY has been known as the re-titling state" for many years............

Did you mean to say certified used?

I just purchased a used camry with 39k miles. SE 2.4 for only $17,500 (haggled down from $19,900!). Brand new, this car is around $23,000! Its not worth buying a new car IMO. couple things to remember, CAR FAX, Toyota Vehicle repair history and just look at the car very closely.

If you can remember what station you were watching and roughly what time the commercial ran, you can call their advertising exec and get the name of the dealer, and from there clarify exactly what they were saying.
