What Do Your Guys Think About This??

Im looking for a trunk spoiler and these guys got this combo deal going on. Is this a good deal? Has anyone else dealed with these guys before? Does the trunk spoiler look like the OEM one? Do you guys think that 3M tape is enough to hold that trunk spoiler on? Thanks

The lip spoiler will need to be bolted on. You will need to drill three very "precise" holes in your trunk. I have the lip spoiler and it's exactly like the oem ones.

I have that bolt on spoiler from oemspoilerking that I'm going to install this week. It's a really nicely finished product... Highly reccommend...

I also really wonder that since there are those fiberglass trunk spoilers that come with 3M VHB tape vs. bolts if I couldn't use VHB to attach this spoiler, especially if the ABS ones are much lighter. That VHB sticks like superglue and we have it at work. Hmmm...

I bought mine off that seller. Paint matched perfectly save one area where it ran. The roof is a bit wavy due to an uneven surface but what do you expect at that price? I used 3M tape to install everything since I didn't want to drill. Still holding up strong since I got it and temps in SoCal have been both hot and cold so far

Good to know Isaac, because I really don't want to drill holes in my decklid if I don't need to.

Only other thing keeping me from putting it on was that I had taken some stuff to the junkyard in my truck last weekend, and had the trunk popped and bungee'd down to about 5". I filled up so the MPG reset, and I only saw 28-29 mpg for the 20 miles I drove vs. 36-37 with the trunk closed.

I almost gassed myself out of the car, but that was my fault. lol!

If anyone else is interested in some VHB tape, they sell it through ULine.com

It's a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive car that never sees over 80mph... I see no function other than looking cool. But, I like the way it looks. Lowering, underbody paneling and ground effects would do a lot more for downforce I think.

Kind of cool was a pic on a Gen III SHO we were following years ago- in it's time, it was 1 of 3 cars with a truly functional spoiler. I think the other 2 were a Jag and a Porsche...

I'll be testing Michigan hot and cold... We'll see how the VHB tape does in a range from -20*F to 100*F
