For those of you who have had your fenders rolled and/or pulled

I went today to get a price on getting my Wifes 2010 LE's rear fenders roll and pulled to accept the 225/40/18's with 9.5 rear XXR's. I went to a place where they come highly recommended from fellow BMW, VW and Audi people. So it's not some low end low class shop. He told me he would do it, but wated to warn me first that most Imports Toyota and Honda in perticular have really cheap paint jobs and some of their paint tends to flake. I respected him telling me that he had personally had these issues before he just dove right in there, but for the people here who have had them professionally done with a heat gun and roller that hooks to your hubs has was your experiance? He pointed out on the Camry where they have the most problems flaking and that was the little 1/2" or so lip just above the fender line before it curves into the body. Hopefully I described it pretty clear for you. So yea please feel free to let me know your experiances with your Toyota, preferably the 6th gen.

Thanks
Judd

My paint didn't chip at all actually, the rubber liner that protects the lip of the fender would be basically destroyed from the heat and will rub off with the roller, but without a doubt your paint shouldn't crack if the guy is really good.

If I were you I would test fit the wheels when you get your fenders rolled first before you decide on pulling. If anything just run a little camber because a bad pull will be expensive to fix.
