Below is my reply to a post. After I submitted my reply, I found that the post is one year ago. Then I looked for more post about this noise, and found your post.
My 2010 Camry has the same noise and comes out exactly as you described. If you want to hear louder noise, you need to park for at least 30min. The reason is to let the engine and connected parts to cool down. The Toyota specialist at one Toyota Service diagnosed as normal. His explanation is that: the noise comes from the connection point between engine and exhaust pipe. He said that, in the past, the exhaust part that connects to engine was made of metal, but now is made of hard plastic. When this hard plastic part is heated by the hot exhaust from engine, it expands and gives this click/cluck noise. That is why you hear just one time after you take off. As for my camry, the noise comes out within 30 feet after take off. I feel it annoy. Who knows if it is normal! If the plastic part expands so vigorously, can it be normal? We should ask Toyota to fix this problem!
If you have more information about this noise, please share with us. I want to know if every camry has this noise.
Thanks.
