When will we see something on the 2012 Camry

I ordered my '07 XLE V-6 in April of '06 and just turned 14,000 miles. I am interested in seeing the 2012 Camry especially if they offer it in AWD, Any idea when we might see information on the new models? Thanks.

I am wondering the same thing. I am guessing sometime in Spring 2011.

It will only be a facelifted version of the current gen, it will look more like an Avalon, and no plans of offering AWD at all. I work at a dealership and this is what we have been told so far by Toyota. I will put up more specific info in a bit.

A facelift doesn't seem like a logical course of action, especially since the 2010 was a facelift. The current gen will be 5 years old in 2012 and if they in-fact only facelift the car it would be a huge mistake. I am expecting a thorough redesign and as for the Avalon, thats a slow selling car that should have been canned many years ago, so I can see why it was only facelifted.

I am just saying this is what we have been told so far by Toyota. I work in the sales department in a dealership here in Wisconsin, and have access to the latest updates on models. However, I would not be surprised if Toyota were hush-hush about it. We will see.

To be honest, when it is completely redesigned, I'm almost expecting it to look similar to the new Hyundai Sonata.

It's a complete redesign. Our region reps haven't even seen it or heard anything about its specifications. They only know it's a redesign. Of course, that won't stop the bean counters from delaying it a year if they can't finalize the redesign. Who knows...

The Koreans are supposed to copy the Japanese, not the other way around

So? Think about it.....the Camry has slowly been changing to that "sleek look" over time. It just makes sense.
