2005 camry factory alarm problem

Hey everyone.
I have a 2005 Camry V6 LE. The factory alarm has been giving me problems. The alarm would just reset itself or something. So the remotes would not work at all. I reprogrammed the alarm a couple times by following one of the threads in the sticky but it would later reset and cause the remotes not to work again. I'm having a brain-fart and don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

I have an '04 and I havn't had an issue, but it sounds to me that your alarm brain/computer may be going or has gone bad. You may have to bite the bullet and take it to your local dealer to diagnoe it.

MSRP IS $83.37 and it looks like it is up behind the glove box area.

Those are add on items and are treated a bit different than regular parts. PM me your VIN, I'll check and see what you have and then what I may be able to do is send you the installation instructions. I think it may even have a trouble shooting section. That may be all I can do for you as I am not a Tech, but at least it can be a start.
