2007 + Camry Key FOB programming: Any way w/o scantool?

I would like to know if someone have programmed their transmitter w/o going to the dealer? If so what is the programming instruction? I searched but the instruction seems to be similar to 02-06 camry.

I got a replacement and wanting to try it out.

Update...

Doesn't seem like theres a way to program key fob w/o scantool like techstream.

I gave up and got techstream to get it to work. The tool was able to change a lot of setting in the BECU.

When you say you were able to change alot of settings. Did you happen to come across a setting that would allow you to control the windows (up/down) with the KEY FOB. I was able to do this with my 2005 Jetta using VAGCOM. I don't know why toyota has missed this feature, the accord has been doing it for years.

camry do not have that feature. I am not sure if xle have it but my SE do not have it. honda accord started in 2003. however, lexus has it as standard.

most cars these day use CAN-bus communication devices like your german, GM, or toyota. I haven't heard of aftermarket software to control it. CAN-bus in toyota and honda is fairly new integrated in early 2000, unlike germans. I believe VAGCOM (volkswagen) is not an OEM software nor Durametric (Porsche). Both software has limitations but enough for most enthusiasts.

Techstream is a full-blown diagnostic tool, from what I have been learning, developed for Toyota Motor Corporation.

The software can be found on google.com. That's where I found it.

Currently there are two cables that will work.
1. Mongoose MFC $500
2. Openport 2.0 $170
