Remote key

so i have a remote key for my car and about a month ago i left it in my pants poket and accidently washed it in the washer.

it worked fine but after a month or so now, when i came out to unlock my car with the remote it doesnt work properly and i have to sit there and keep pressing it or hit it with my finger to come on again..

do you guys think that it may just need new batteries and do you think i should get a whole new remote key opener?

Uhh, a new battery is what, $5? A new key is over $200. Try the battery first..

If it worked for a month after you washed it, I doubt the washing has anything to do with its behavior now. Try new batteries and go from there
