New Camry to Import

Hi,
Here on toyotanation I see a lot of beautifull Camry coming by. In Amerika, this is the most sold car, but here in the netherlands, we Can't buy one. It has to be import from your country. So I took the step. I bought an 2010 Camry !

Next week, the Camry is going on the boat, and will be arriving at septembre 17.
Can you imagine what this means........ Till now I never saw an 2010 or 2011 camry in real.
This is going to be very exciting

Most People who kwow Camry's can't understand why toyota stopped with this car for Europe.
The Gen 5 was the last type we could buy at the Toyota dealer.
Then it stopped. Here in the Netherlands, the Avensis is the Toyota's top family model.
I never saw a Aurion driving here.
sometimes it's boring. I just have to come to Amerika to see all those big Toyota's

Congrats! A while back my Uncle told me that when he went to visit our relatives in Holland one of his Aunts had a Toyota Sienna and everyone was super impressed with it. He thought it was funny that people driving Mercedes were complimenting her. But I guess Toyotas are rare there so it would be cool to see them.

Hup Holland Hup!

Imagine if you imported a Corvette! haha

Seriously I can help you import whatever cars you want from here, you should set up a Camry dealership! It would totally be legal, as people made a fortune importing Corvettes into the UK before GM just entered the market in 2011.

Its like that saying, "The grass is always greener on the other side". People would kill to have skylines here. The cost to bring them to US is expensive. So congrats on your purchase and owning a rare car. Will the local Toyota dealer be able to service it?

Thanks all for thinking with me.
First of all, it's nice to drive a car, what you don't see on every corner of the street. Second, I don't feel free in our topmodel Avensis. the room inside is to small, and if you look beside, you bump with your head agains the door/roof corner.
When you drive an Camry, its much more confortable what gives a lot of more fun while driving !

At this moment I'm driving an 2007 camry. All the maintenance I do my self. Getting parts is no problem at the toyota dealer. I don't know what's different at an 2010 model.
It would be nice if someone could tell me:
What about:
Brakeparts ?
engine oil filter?
Airfilter ?
cabinfilter ?

Beside, I'm looking for sidemirrors with LED flahlight. If someone could sent me a link, where I can order these's, would be very nice.

Last time I checked (maybe a year ago) they sold Camry's in Germany (not the Aurion). If that is the case, wouldn't it be easier to drive across and get one their?

Yes, your richt.
But the German people buy these Camry's in America and sell them for an higher price.
I chose to keep that money in my own pocket.

I have seen a lot new and used sold by dealers...you mean dealers add a premium for importing? I thought the Camry is sold in Germany anyway - yes, dealer pricing looked expensive.

There are a few differences between the 07 and 10. Led tail lights. 2.5L engine instead of the 2.4lL. I know they have blue-tooth as a option, as well as a USB port.
