2011 toyota camry rubber boot strut ripped

The rubber boot on my left front strut is ripped and looks mangled. I can see the metal of the strut. It started of when it was raining about 3 months ago i heard the car creaking over bumps. I checked it out under the car and the strut boot is ripped. I have 5k on the car. Is this covered? Is my shock messed up from this? Thanks

Don't think your struts can possibly be messed up by anything that early really, unless you do a jump off a canyon and land on the wheels.

Take it into warranty.

it could have been "mangled" at the factory by improperly installed. simple, GO BACK to the dealer.......they can "see" you could not have done this.......

problem solved

i'm so damned good, ain't i.........???
