Ventilated(Cooled seats)

Has anyone tried adding the ventilated seats from an Avalon into a Camry?

I don't know about that but the dealer I work for, on their accessories website (www.igaccessories.com/smartmotors) has an option to put heated/cooled seats into your Camry, and it adds leather seats. Take a look....it might be kind of expensive but your seats don't change shape and at least you know it will work out.

And also even if the seats DID work (fitment wise) you would need to find a way to make the wiring for the switch for the heated/cooled seats to work. And the switch for those on the Avalon is in the center console...not the seat itself....so good luck.

ventilated seat is an excellent idea. I was stoked w/ the feature when I climbed into my buddy's is250. I don't care too much for the heated seat though.

Somebody should take on the project.

That is the only aftermarket solution that I know of....the one that I explained above. The elements for heat and vetilation are added into your seats post-title. (aka aftermarket). Unless you can find someone else to do it, but I'm sure they're going to do the same thing.

I did look at that site, both avalon and camry, but I am not seeing the parts.

You have to dig a little deeper.....on the main page pick any year (07-11), then Toyota, then Camry, and any trim level. Once you've done that it will show the main screen of accessories. Click on "aftermarket accessories" and then click on "packages". About halfway down you will see (on the far left side) "Heated and Ventilated Seats"

Yeah I know....it's pretty pricey. Although it adds leather so if you already have leather you could probably strike a deal. Right next to it is just the heated seats for $600 and it doesn't add leather so you never know.
