Unhappy Strange jingling while driving

Hello Toyota fans and owners. I own a 02 Camry 2.4, engine is 2az-fe. Whenever I'm driving I hear a slight jingling sound from the engine bay, its more noticeable when passing a wall so i hear it more. The thing is when the car isnt moving and i rev it, the sound isnt there, but as I'm moving off there it goes.
The sound seems more agressive up hill.... any ideas whats causing this??

Sounds like a suspension problem. Not a engine problem.

Sounds as if it could be a pinging sound you're hearing. Try a higher octane gas or another brand than you usually use and see if it stops. If it does you'll know it's engine timing.

I believe you may have a point with the fuel that i use... the only problem is where i live its only 87 and 90 fuel we have. Can anything be done to the engine if thats the case??
One more thing.... when i start in the morning sometimes i get a slight white puff of smoke... is this normal??

Go to any reliable garage. Have the ignition timing checked. Being the car is 8 almost nine years old there will be some issues. I wouldn't worry too much about that puff of smoke unless it escalates. You can use the 90 octane to see if the pinging stops. If it does you'll know for sure theres an ignition timing problem.

Ok thanks man, I'll let them check the ignition timing ASAP and see how that goes. But I do use 90 octane and still heat the same pinging sound, so I hope its nothing critical. Thanks again.
