power steering fluid.?

mine is one the low level ..i want to fill it up , according to the manual book ,its said dexron II or III , i cant get that brand any where local or even search online ,
what brand and what kind you guys put in ur camry 07-10

Just go to your local dealer or parts store and get a bottle of power steering fluid. It's not like tranny fluid or brake fluid, it's pretty universal.

hmmm idk toyota only using ATF for their power systems .. i wont even wanna try to just put any power steering fluids in there .i guess i will do Synthetic Dexron-III ATF if i can find some by pepboys

The power steering fluid that we use says "Toyota Power Steering Fluid". If you compare what's in that compared to what's in any other power steering fluid bottle....you will see that everything is the same.

A second note: Dexron III ATF is red in color. Your power steering fluid is a brownish/black.

Dexron II or III is a type of fluid, not a brand. You can get it anywhere. Walmart, Autozone, Safeway. Any brand is fine. Dexron is a more tightly controlled standard than 'power steering fluid' which has to adhere to no standard as such. Use what Toyota tells you to use.
