Ok so back in may, i had all 4 of my tires replaced at a mitsubushi dealer because it was close to my house and they had a sale on tires. After i had them replaced my tire light icon blinks for 1 min and then stays on and turns off. This happens every other day its so annoying. I know i read in the manual it says if it blinks for 1 min there's a malfunction in the TPMS. So I took it to toyota dealer recently last week, and they told the guys at the mitsubushi dealers broke 3 of the sensors. So they did a diagnostic and they replaced 3 of them under warranty and the other one no codes came up. I had them replaced last tuesday and now on thursday the light came back again, with the same 1 min blinking....I don't know what the problem is since they replaced 3 of the sensors already. Its quite irritating. You guys have any ideas? Thanks

Take it back to the Toyota dealer and have them check it again. They may have messed up.

Yeah i'm taking it back this Thursday. Ive must have been to the dealer like 4 times for this, and the first 3 times they said it was just the weather changing and the pressure was off. So this time they finally really looked at it and found 3 of the sensors was bad and codes came up for them so they replaced it. That light is really irritating. lol

why create more clutter for a simple solution?

This is why I hate TPMS sensors.....for those of us that actually know how to put air in our tires and check it once in awhile it's just an expensive annoyance. Make them replace all 4 sensors and make sure they program them properly. However, fyi, the sensors are easy to break. It doesn't take much and they're done for.

Yes its very annoying, esp when it blinks every other day when i go to start my car. I will be taking it back this thursday hopefully they fix it for good. They replaced 3 of the 4 because the 1 no codes came up for it.

Guys do you know how tight sensor nuts should be?
I tight them by hand and then another 1.5-2 turn with wrench by one hand, till it putt noticeable resistance.

Your Factory Service Manual says 35 in-lbs.

You're not golfing so you don't have to putt........................
