Troubleshooting flat tire idiot light?

My 2007 Camry V6 is showing the flat tire idiot light. I currently have 58k miles. At about 40k miles, I got new rims/tires, and the TPMS parts were replaced.

The tires all have the correct pressure. The way I figure it, I have 2 options: take it to a tire repair shop, who'd have to take off each wheel and do the repair, or take it to a dealer who could probably figure out which wheel has the issue, and charge more than the repair shop to replace the part.

Is there any way to verify that the transmitter in a particular wheel is working so that maybe I could narrow it down myself?

I'm not sure how tire shop does it but Toyota uses a computer to recalibrate it. It should be a 15min job. The software is called Techstream. Google is your friend.

Hmm, you just jogged my memory. I gotta do a little looking to see if there's a TPMS reset button in my glove box.

In the new Camry's there's not a TPMS reset button. When you got new sensors they may have forgotten to program one or all of them to your car. Go back and have them fix it.

Nevermind,for a minute I thought it was a full size spare.

the sensors were all programmed correctly, as they've been working OK for 18k miles.

I had a synapse about the spare tire, and was going to check that when I got home. You're saying the spare does not have a sensor in it?

Looks like my process is to check the spare when I get home, reset if I can, then I'll have to hit the dealer.
