Keyless remote receiver

I have a 2003 Camry and the keyless remote stopped working. I replaced the battery in the remote and attempted to reprogram it but never could get the indication that the car was in program mode (the power locks should lock). I took it to the dealer and they said that the Door Control Receiver was not responding and gave an estimate of $705.00 to repair it. I have a few questions:
1. Where is the Door Control Receiver located on the 2003 Camry?
2. Does anyone know of a place to get this part at a more reasonable price?

I have found over the years that a salvage yard is a good place to start for parts.
