Hello, TN! Here's my progress thread. It'll be upgraded as we go.

Factory options:
-Alloys
-Tints

Mods so far:
-Debadged
-5k DDM HID Low Beams
-Magnaflow universal with Silverline Tip



Future Mods
-In-Channel Window Visors
-K&N SRI* or Drop In

I'm holding out on anything K&N for now because I do not want to void my warranty, and I keep hearing things about soiled MAF's and poor filtration when talking of K&N.

One question, though. Do the in-channel visors damage tints on the window?

K&N wont void yur warranty. i had the K&N over a year and see many pp run it without any problems.

Sounds grand! I'll make it my priority mod, then. What is the cheapest you've seen it go? I think I've seen it at it's lowest $255.00 shipped.

I've had my K&N drop in for over 15k miles with no problem, I'll get the SRI soon too. You should PM PrincessPeach, he's a vendor here and will give you good prices on parts. I'll get mine from him soon too after I take care of the little things first.

if u got the balls get a fujita. also add se grille to the list and black out headlights. u'll love how nice the front end looks after them.

have you thought about getting darker tint? compliments white cars a lot

Thanks guys. Darker tint would be a plus. I will do so after I find out if I want the intake or not.

Why would the fujita require extra doses of testosterone? Does it just require more wrenching?

EDIT: Are CAI's just an extra step? Removal of the bumper..

cai goes all the way down to the foglights and sucks cold air from the bottom. theres a member on here that has shown with time slips that u get real gains from a full cold air and it sounds nicer imho. only down side is u have to watch during rain not to hydrolock although if there is enough water u can even do it with oem intake(this is why i say u need more balls lol). just get the hydroshield to reduce the risk. sri only goes to about battery location so easier to install. peachy has best prices for both i believe.

Update! I ordered the K&N Intake today. Should be here Thursday.

Paired with my exhaust, the intake should allow my camry to surprise a few on the road.

Hey, I'd just like to confirm, K&N's short ram intake for the 2.4l camry (gen 6) will fit the 2.5l camry (gen 6.5), right?

I'm thinking about getting a SRI for the winter or just flat out selling my CAI. But I looked yesterday and the CAI is like mid-bumper..plus I have hydroshield, also california weather..

But yeah nice mods, you're off to a good start

Does CA get a lot of rain? I mean, you're most likely fine with that hydro-shield, but I'm certainly not up for risking hydro-lock here in FL.. too much rain!

Gains are similar, CAI does just a tad better.
