Best Struts & Springs for 03 Camry XLE I4 ?

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE I4 with just over 100k miles.

I was recently told I needed to replace all 4 struts and was recommended that it is also good practice to replace the springs as well. There is a creaking/thump when I go over speed bumps. The wheels also will slightly squeal on low speed turns like into a parking spot which I was told was due to struts. I also have a vibration in the car that varies and was told it was the struts and possibly rotors/brakes.

I would like a smooth ride that isn't overly harsh/rough.

What struts and springs would you guys recommend? Do I need to replace the springs or can I just my current ones if there are no rust/cracks?

I did a search and the one I keep seeing is KYB but don't they have a stiff/rough ride?

The other ones that I have been recommended were the "Monroe Sensa-track" which they said is more of a "Lexus" like ride.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Go with the OEM setup, and just get replacement parts. For the sounds, make sure the mounts and upper barrings aren't broken.

I have that popping sound and my strut mount was broken, which eventually snapped the spring in half.

Ironically my car is in the shop today getting the whole front suspension replaced.

But if you want comfort and stock height etc. Just go with OEM XLE Struts and springs.

You can reuse the factory springs if they aren't sagging or show excessive signs of wear.

Well it only makes the 'clunking' or 'squeak' when I go over speed bumps.

Where would I look to inspect the mounts/upper bearings? and what would I look for besides any obvious breaks?

I appreciate the input, thanks!

You'll have to jack it up, or put it on a lift to see.

For mine, the actual mount plate was loose and just flopping around

I have my car back now, sooo smooth and nice not to hear any more noises

Does anyone know of any other brands that make a "Quick-Strut" like Monroe where it is all together in one unit that makes it easy to replace?

Thanks!
