White turning signal

Hey going straight to the point is it legal to have white turning signals? Meaning instead of amber in the front and in the back have them white? Also can you be driving with a blue dome light on at night? Thank you

It depends on the state that you live in. Most states adopt similar laws, but not all vehicle laws are the same in every state. With that being said, I know in DC, MD, and VA they are illegal.

White turning signals are annoyingly bright at night but can be useless during the daytime.

Blue lights inside or even driving with lights on inside can be illegal.

White turn signals or any color other than amber or red is illegal. Will you get stopped? Depends on the officer. Will you pass inspections? Probably not.

As someone stated, during the day the white turn signals will just get washed out by the day light.

If you have white turn signals, don't even bother driving through Massachsetts, you'll get pulled over in every town. We have too many auto laws for our own good.

They just passed a law that teenagers cannot drive and talk... which is our way of mickey mousing around a simple hands free device law for the time being... maybe in another 200 years we'll actually pass the law.

you should just check your state and city laws.
but either way the white turning light, as many have said, would be useless.
where i'm from 1 out of 10 cars have HIDs(in reflector housing & incredible glare) or drive with thier highbeams on.
they never get pulled over.
but in other areas, officers take it serious.

Texas does not allow white turn signals. Why would anybody want white turn signals? Signals are to be SEEN by other drivers.... Seems pointless to change the color.
