TRD drop & stock heght comparison

My friend has a 2009 V6 SE & I have a 2007 4 cylinder SE. Both cars are Magnetic Gray. This past weekend, he had his car dropped on TRD springs & KYB shocks. I took pics of our cars together & I'm amazed at how high my car is. I can't wait to get my TRD springs......

Pics below.

Here's his dropped V6.

Here's my 4 X 4 4 cylinder.

sorry not feeling the uneven gap. more drop in the rear make it look like there are pp in the back seat
go Tein or H&R for an even drop. had Tein and love it. no one have complain about Tein on Camry so far.

It doesn't look that uneven to me. I saw the H&R drop but it doesn't look low enough for me. I may go wth the Teins. I would have to get the ones for the Solara right?

Yeah, I guess I kinda see it. Did you run the Tein's on your factory shocks? I know you have a lot of pics but which pic is of your car dropped on the Teins?

you won't be or get as low as him because you have an I4..the V6 is heavier and adds half an inch or more drop to the front end.

So go with Tein or H&R for evenness

Springs could be between 150-250 depending on brand...

labour will be different depending where you go and shop rates. or free if you can do it yourself.

For me springs were around 100-150.

installation was $100. but the mechanic was like "Im not doing it for $100 anymore" and so .

but other places quote $140-$180 labor.

Save for coils. You wont regret it later on if you want to go lower. I went 10k on my Teins before I sold them lol

Doing all 4 struts and springs takes probably 4 hours or more, and no mechanic works for $25/hr so he obviously did not realize how time consuming it is.
