Gen5 thinking about new headlights....

i own an 06 camry se with the blk housings.... LH side is factory and RH side is aftermarket (was done before i had car) anyways i have an HID system in it and noone will believe me but the beam pattern is almost the same as stock.... only thing is the RH side is cheapo aftermarket and the beam is good but not great

i want your opinion..... ive either been thinking of just replacing the RH side with OEM or getting an aftermarket projector headlights (im not looking to retrofit projectors in my own lights beause i know i will screw it up)

ive seen the cheapo ones on ebay and the pricing isnt bad but theyre probly not built well; ive also seen ones from a company called anzo and the look pretty good but are expensive (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...s+%26+Lighting)

what do u think?

Just get new SE lights.

The link you posted, the output is horrible on them ( i have had similar lights). And they are over priced.

Best bet is to find SE headlights and do a retro fit.

well i bought a used oem headlight on the RH side and it looks and fits better than the crappy aftermarket one did; only thing i noticed was when i turned on my lights to aim them the light is a different color than the other side...... i thought maybe it was the HID bulb but then i turned on the highbeams and the same thing; the company claims to "polish" thier lights when they send them out so could that be it?

your old headlight housing is probably just a bit hazy, even if you cant see it with the naked eye. give it a good polish and see if you can see a difference.. other than that, i would check the bulbs, make sure you didnt touch them with your bare hands.

yeah i would definatly polish and buff your old headlamps or even both, to get them at hte same level.

Thats the thing about headlamps, its sorta like you gotta replace both at once kind of deal
