Hey everyone, my first thread. I bought an '11 SE 4cyl. about two weeks ago. Since then, it's been well taken care of and what not. However, today, when I was going up my driveway extremely slowly and at an angle, I still managed to scrape the bottom of my front lip on the driver side. It's not that big or even that noticeable, and I know it's likely to happen (I have a Gen 5 Camry SE too), but it's really bothering me. Can you give me some suggestions on how to get it fixed? I am considering bringing it to a body shop, but I am more interested in quicker and cheaper options to mask the damage. I saw the Home Depot Lip, are there any other options similar to that? Maybe something I can buy preformed? Thanks for your reply...
You need this: Scrape proof, very durable, custom made by me.
Wow, that's pretty much what I'm looking for. It doesn't seem to be HDL but some type of molding? Would you mind telling me what you used? And possibly where you got it? You help is greatly appreciated...

It is body molding made by style guard. I just bought some two days ago for the same problem. None of the shops around here seem to carry it, so here is a link. I believe GT-R got his from Pep Boys. Just shop around for the actual molding that you need, chrome, chrome / black, black....etc.
I'm interested in the lil trim piece you stuck under it. where did you get it? if it was not made for the SE, how did you fit it w/ all of the curvature?
thanks, man.

If you just rely on the adhesive to do the job it might not last long. I would suggest that you measure out what you need and locate holes along the length in locations that would match good spots on the underside of the bumper. Use stainless steel screws, nuts, and flat washers to attach. About 7 spots spaced out should do it. In this way when there is forward thrust against the rubber it will stay put rather than ripping the whole thing off and leaving it to dangle.

Sorry that this is another repeat thread; I did a search and only a few relevant threads came up. Nonetheless, if I missed something, like if there was a thread showing an install with pictures and directions, please post a link below. Anyway, thanks for all your help guys - especially GT-R. I feel stupid for scraping the bottom of my kit, but I am glad to know there is a fix. This forum rocks!

Reading what other people post will save you from having to repeat the question.
