I really dislike the stock center console in my 07 SE (cheesy and very plasticy look).
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a cheap mod for it? (I really can't spend the money to put say a navigation+DVD unit in there so...)
I was thinking red LED behind it. to give it the AUDI interior look (but then again during the day I'd still have the ugly old look) or maybe tint the whole thing black. I don't know. feel free to chime in (pics please if you did anything to yours). thanks.
take your smart ass comments somewhere else if you can't offer something constructive.
How much more constructive do you want?? You say the console has a 'cheesy and very plasticy look'. Short of ripping it out and replacing it with nothing, or commissioning the fabrication of a custom made, polished aluminim console that glows in the dark, there just isn't much you can do with 'cheesy and very plasticy look'. Since you like the Audi console, I recommend that you buy one. Nothing at all 'smart ass' about the last comment nor this one. Just another example of someone buying a car and not liking what he bought. This isn't like not liking a squeak or engine quirk. This is a design element that was there when you first looked at the car. Get used to it or get rid of it if it troubles you so.

AGREED!!!! hahaha....if you do not like it....go ahead and trade it in or get used to it!!!!!
so I should trade in a car because I do not like 1% of it?
then why do you guys mod your cars here? why not exchange them every time you want something changed.seriously, stop posting in my thread if all you want to do is be a jerk.
