Gen6 Calling all Gen6 V6 camry owners

DO your engines sound like this?
Its been doing this sence it was new...with 28K on the odo its been getting worse. I use nothing but synthetic oils changed 3-4K miles, and all oil change recipts. Already had it to one dealer but they just keep telling me its normal. Its gotten to the point to where if i stop at a stoplight i can hear it over the blower. Bringing it in to a diff dealer on wednesday. Lets home somthing positive comes out of this visit.

Mine doesn't sound like that. Could this be the famed VVTi TSB with the check engine codes (ie. P0015)?

Do you have any check engine lights coming on?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see yours is 2010, I think the VVTi problem was fixed in 2007 production (after they built mine ).

I don't think so, mine (outside) sounds like what yours sound like (inside).

The engine will idle like a mofo though. Tick tick tick tick tick vibratiosn. Maybe you should drive over to Pawel or someone local and compare.

After listening to your second video, actually that sounds exactly like they all sound like.

SO yes, that is normal...

Then it's too hard to diagnose via video... you should just find someone close with a V6.

You come up to Boston if you want to compare with mine lol.

Mine does not sound like that. I only have a similar 'clicking' noise shortly after starting the engine...which goes away.

Ya mine sounds like that

it's annoying but not annoying to the fact that I can hear it from inside.

I remember the first day i got it, i drove it to my school parking lot and snuck up behind 2 girls and honked and they got scared. they said my car was very quiet :p

I dont think I can do that anymore :[

Mine started doing that a while back ('07 V6). I can hear it from the inside. Sounds like your first video from the outside. Goes away after warmup. Sounds like piston slap, like in my old 185K mile '95 Camry. Didn't think my new Camry would do that so soon. But alas.
