Bye bye, Camry

I was driving home from school on the freeway on thursday and got into an accident, and flipped about 5 times or so.

My 2011 SE was totalled, my phone, wallet, tom tom, etc. were all thrown from the car and destroyed, my laptop somehow survived in its case.

I litterally was hanging upside down in my chair when the car finally stopped rolling, and the only thing that saved me was my seatbelt.

I was able to crawl out of the car and i only have minor bumps and bruises and some burns from the airbag. But its still something an 18 year old should not have to experience D:

I'll put some pictures my dad took of the aftermath at the towing companies yard later

But the lesson for everyone is, to wear your seat belt, all the time









The driver side windows were in tact, the front passenger side window was intact and the rear passenger window broke, the others had cracks and stuff, but they stayed in the door and stuff still
The broken window on the rear passenger side is the window i crawled out of, if it wasnt broken, i wouldnt have been able to get out of the car on my own

I believe all the tires popped except for the passenger side rear tire

the thing hanging out the window in the rear passenger window is the side skirt that fell off, and the front fender flares fell off, too the holes are the guide holes im guessing.

my dad has no photos of the car at the accident scene because as soon as he got there the ambulance came and he had to follow behind

im grab yur still here. so another Camry since it save yur life?

They may be inconvenient but they can and do save your ass more times than not.

yeah the car is getting written off i think

And i was driving and then this truck was in the lane on my right infront of me and it was about to connect, and then i dont remember the actual hit, i just remember hearing a pop and seeing a white flash, which i think was the air bag

i think the airbag knocked me unconscience for a few seconds because i dont remember the initial spin off the road and initial rolls

I only remember waking up mid flip and hearing this screaming and the car kept rolling and i tried bracing by holding on to something, and i noticed the screaming was me, but it wasnt normal screaming, it was like "im dying" screaming, because i thought i was going to die.

And then when the car finally stopped rolling i was upside down, and unbuckled, and had to crawl out the driver side back seat window because the driver side was crushed down, and the other windows were in tact, the trunk was pushed up into the rear window, and the only window broken off completely was the one i crawled out of.

But that roll and scream keeps replaying, its horrible, lol

there was no way you could swerve out of the way or soemthing

or did it just happen to fast

Dont know, i dont remember hitting the truck, just remmeber the pop, flash, and roll. i thought the truck merged on to me, but according to the police man, from the way the damage on the bumper is, i clipped his rear

I wish i did, if my dad can get back to that place, ill see if he can get it for me.

He was able to get the toyota emblem off the front since it had minimal damage, and i am keeping it as a memorial item i guess
