IIRC, back in early 2006 when the 07 V6 came out, it had tranny issues surfaced pretty quick, <1000miles. Toyota did have the TSB and the issue was corrected not too long after that.
I haven't heard any V6 tranny issue since then.

Thats cheap. more expensive here. The only think i can thik of is the V6 had ecu problems for shifting maybe thats why the numbers are high?
I still have my old car, 2000 Celica with 218Kmiles and need to sell it; the point is that I was not in an immediate rush to buy a car. But when I was searching for a car, I made a car list. The Camry was not on the top. But I made my list and had my notes. Each car I like I would wiki it and I would search for problems of that make and model. I knew I wanted 4 doors and GREAT gas mileage. I was pretty sure I would buy a corolla S, (5 speed manual, fogs, sunroof and REALLY good on gas... that's all I really want). I was checking out craigslist (cars.com and auto trader) every other day and finally I saw this deal and I just pulled the plug. Even though I got this car for $12,995.00, if the person tried to trade it in to a dealership for cash he would have been offered like $10,500.00 (dealerships are stealerships). The person who I purchased the car from got a job which came with a company truck. The bad part was I could not bargain my price lower and AFTER I bought it I noticed a few VERY MINOR issues... which I could definitely live with.
