Mystery Noise with Evidence? 2008 LE

Hello everyone. I posted a thread a few weeks ago regarding a noise I have been having at WOT as my car approaches redline and is ready to shift. I couldn't describe it to well but some how stumbled across a post on Youtube with the exact same issue and noise.

The poster said it was his water pump that needed to be fixed. What is interesting is that my water pump was replaced 10k ago. My car has 55k on it now and runs fine except for this. I think it may have leaked at some point because if you look at the underside of my hood above the belts you see some white residue there. I think it is old because after I drive it never is wet or gets any bigger.

When the water pump was going before it made a clunking noise when I drove. Now I don't hear anything except at certain points accelerating.

My car has no loss in power. I have the regular engine noises (I hope) that this 4 cylinder makes.

I wanted to post this again since I have an exact match to the sound.
Thanks for your help.
Ed

Isnt that normal? At first I thought you were talking about the bird chirps

The 2AZ-FEs have some strange engine noises. I say that your first step would be to get that water pump checked out then.

I'll give a report when I get it checked out in a week or so. I should expect that a 4 cylinder makes all kinds of noise. Should have sprung for the 6 cylinder lol.

It is hard to tell from just one video but it almost sounds like an exhaust rattle.
