i think it boils down to, you are the OWNER, and if YOU WANT it done at a certain mileage, get it done.
for me, even though my AT is sealed up, i will "go" about 30,000 miles which for me, will be 2 years worth of all seasons driving. i will take it to the dealer. if they refuse to take my money and do the job, there WILL BE a dealer or transmission shop that will......
then maybe every 2 years after this, first AT fluid flush, i'll do it again, and so on.
no one is actually stopping you from spending your money.
Read your owner's manual if you want something in writing. It's there. Now, the fluid is good 100k miles under most conditions before a change is recommended. You can however change at any time. The service folks might say you are wasting your money, but take five minutes and read some of these threads about people wanting air bags, coil overs, lcd lighting, etc, and you can find lots of other ways to waste your money onas well. If you are concerned, get the fluid changed, but do it at the dealer. I don't trust Aamco with anything past a 1980 Ford.

"People who think they know it all are particularly irritating to those of us who do."
First off, I am not a tech, but have been assisting techs for nearly 30 years. I have an 09 Sienna that takes the same fluid as your 07, which is World Standard(WS) and is 100K fluid under normal driving conditions. But my 04 Camry takes T-IV and I follow a different regiment than for the '09.
But I will make my notes/opinion/experience below to your statement/question and hope it helps.

1. 07 4cly AT filter change @ ?????? milage. - In nearly 30 years, I have never replaced an AT filter as part of normal maitanence. Unless it is physically damaged, it doesn't need to be replaced, PERIOD. Anyone who even suggestes doing it, don't let them touch your car.
2. 07 4cly AT oil change @ ?????? milage. - Again, as stated above, it is good for 100K under normal conditions. If you are like me and just want to put fresh fluid in, realize this, it is a different proceduer than what was in the past. You need a special tool, a computer to hook up to your onboard computer and the car has to get up to normal operating temperature and then the computer tells the tech if they need more fluid. Not something that is done in your driveway and even some independent shops can't perform this work.
3. 07 4cly AT Flush @ ?????? milage. - NEVE HAVE BEEN OR WILL BE A FAN OF FLUSHES. My personal opinion based on years of study that it really is only needed or beneficial in about I'd say 2 5% of the vehicles out there. To just do this as a maitanence item or preventative, I think is unnedccessary. If you had a transmission problem, I may do it just to see if it would help as a last resort before replacing a transmission. But that would depend on the circumstances.
I hope this helps you or answers/ address your concerns.
By the way, the person who posted that they would go about 30K and do a fluid change, well, I respect that person's opinion and don't neccessary think its wrong and in someways agree with them. But it isn't neccessary, it is just that they and I are a bit on the over kill side, but I have never had a transmission problem.
I have a manaul but I know the dealership which I go to offers two types of AT fluid change overs.
(1) For $69.99 they will replace about 6 quarts OR
(2) For $159.99 (or $169.99... I forget), they would do a complet flush which is suppose to be between 11-12 quarts. (Not sure if it was quarts or liters... but there close enough and you get the point.
Don't understand the point of doing just six quarts? Any thoughts?
I just had my Manual Trans Fluids changed out at 39Kmiles. I just bought the car and felt better knowing I had clean fluides. Dealer charged me $69.99 plus Tax... about $74.
I plan to drain and fill my 09 4cyl SE at 100K. Did it for a buddy of mine on is250, which was stupid to do at 60k miles.

The owners manual says 60,000 for AT service. This is what started me on this conundrum 8,000 miles ago. The manual does not say what type of service the dealer's people have conflicting opinions.
It is frustrating that this magic box (AT) is treated like its alive.
It should be simple do this at X milage. Apparently there is no such entry in any known tech manual.
So far I am not confident on what to do or where to turn for "correct" answer's to my questions, I am leaning to do this base on your Knowlegeable opinions.
1. 07 4cly AT filter change @ ?????? milage. (Never change)
2. 07 4cly AT oil change @ ?????? milage. (do not change @ 60,000)
3. 07 4cly AT Flush @ ?????? milage. (do @ 100,000 milage)
4. Is there a service manual to answer these questions?
I believe the flush gets 100% of the old AT oil out? where as the drian and fill will not drain the tourqe converter and only get 4 qts of old oil out.
The owners manual says 60,000 for AT service. I searched for this information and what I came up with is under special circumstances do you change it at 60K. Again, under NORMAL driving conditions, you should be able to go 100K. This is what started me on this conundrum 8,000 miles ago. The manual does not say what type of service the dealer's people have conflicting opinions. If you're instincts suggest doing it sooner, then go for it, it can't/won't hurt.

Most people driver under the severe service category. Even if you don't I'd still change the engine oil and ATF more often.
I'd agree with the tech who wants to change out the filter. The U-series transmissions use a felt-type filter that can plug up over time. It's best to change it and wipe clean the pan.
Did you get quotes for each of those services? The filter is not available aftermarket yet, so it can cost $$$. Maybe Gary can tell us.
