So I got the newest disc for Gen 2- Gen 3 Navigation System.

Here is update.


Newer Map.

It didn't update Firmware from 9.1

Overide still works for this particular generation of Nav.

Did anything operational change, or just the maps? Sounds like Microsoft Streets- new version every year, and really nothing new. I was considering upgrading, but only if nanny was turned off. Stupid. Just stupid.

BTW- if anyone wants 9.1, I have a couple of copies from my 2007 XLE.

I have rav4 2011 with navigation version 10.1.

Please let me know how do I override it? So I can operate it while driving.

It would be great to see what the real differences are, maybe just updates to the maps, new streets, but wander if they updated the screen look and feel from previous versions.

I have the original navigation DVD for a 2004 Toyota Sienna. My understnding is that this is the Gen 2/3.

Can anyone help me in locating the latest and correct update for my Nav. unit with overide capabilities(ability to operate while driving).

I am curious as to how this answers my question? It answers only part of it. I am mostly interested in updating my gen 2/3 navigation disks that are probably 9 years old. If it is possible I would like the capibility to be able to access while driving but it is much more important to receive the update.

I did use the search and had several questions and that is why I posted. I am confused as was looking for absolute help with my situation.

Update discs can be gotten from your local dealer, occasionally you will find some on ebay.
