Gen5 2000-04 Avalon suspension in relation to XV30 (02-06) Camry ????

For all the gear heads out there who know this gen Camry inside out. Is the suspension exactly the same on the V6 Camry as is the MCX20 (2000-04) Toyota Avalon???

There really is a lack of discussion on any forum for this oddball toyota. Ive searched for hours, high and low on TN, Club Lexus, and Solara guy. No one seems to mod these cars stateside... Ive found some information while looking up the Pronard (JDM Avalon) This was my inspiration - http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/...9/profile.aspx

Im asking in regards a suspension set up.

Thanks

Does anyone know the if the 2000-04 Avalon shares anything chassis\suspension/steering with the 2002-06 Camry or ES300 ????

They both ride on the same wheelbase yet the Avalon is supposed to be related to the previous generation Camry/ES300. Is the any common parts or did the Avalon just set the trend by using a streched wheelbase that would be used in later models ?

don't know that the parts are the same, but what you can try is find the part numbers for the avalon suspension and see if they match the part numbers for the camry suspension. if they're exactly the same, they should be interchangeable.

The Avalon came in XL & XLS. The suspension is the same on both models. I asked a member on TN who is a parts manager and he said parts numbers are different but that doesn't mean the parts aren't.

Im wondering if I could use the Camry SE strut tower brace.

How much different is the suspension on Gen 4 & Gen 5 Camry's ??
