5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
You never explained why you wanted/needed to change to a different engine's head. Care to share? How about using the one that was designed for it. In the absence of other compelling information it this would be the best call.

"People who think they know it all are particularly irritating to those of us who do."

The N/A MR2 has 5sfe.
The 3sgte head will also fit the 5sfe block. We build strokers out of the 5sfe block. But Crank rod journals must be machined to accept 3sgte rods.
