2011 Camry SE V6 5k service

Well I had the 5k service done yesterday and the dealership said that the 2011 SE V6 has conventional oil and they change it at the 5k service intervals (the dealership and technician were both surprised to see that it had conventional oil) . I thought that the V6 motors has synthetic ?!? Anyone else had their 5k service done on their 2011 SE with the same results?

I have a 2011 V6 SE too and I was told by the dealer selling me the car "it won't need an oil change until 10000 miles" when I went to get my tires rotated at 5000, I was told by the techs that there is conventional oil in my engine and needs to be changed now...Glad I went to get my tires rotated =)
