1. Is this true?
2. If not, what would be the proper way(s) to boost HP for my car?
3. What is the maximum HP that I can add to my engine without sacrificing fuel economy of course?
My idea is to add 50-60 HP for a total of 208- 218 HP for my I4 Cyl engine. I do not intend to turn it into a racing car but I just want more power. I came here for your expert advice since I do not have extensive knowledge of cars. Thank you in advance for your help

First of all, that chip is very likely false. Secondly, tunes are usually performed
after large mods, like turbo.
Unfortunately, without a huge mod to your car, the i4 will be very hard to push out another 50 hp. However, a CAI, headers, and exhaust, maybe a slight tune, will give you a more responsive ride, maybe a few more ponies that you can vaguely feel. Remember, many times, companies tell you about gains at the crank, which means almost nothing by the time it gets to the wheels.
Something else to look into are lightweight underdrive pulleys.
Good luck.
